So… It’s been nearly 8 months since I posted a recipe. I’m pretty sure I know this is an UNPRECEDENTED hiatus from Life Should Taste Good, but in my defense… I just didn’t feel like writing.

Supah Fudge Brownies…

I haven’t always been a big fan of sweets, and chocolate in particular never held much allure until recently. Those commercials where the actress takes a bite of a cocoa-confection and gets just a liiiittle too excited still repulse me…

Crock Pot Chili…

The beautiful thing about chili is that it’s so customizable and quick to put together. The problem with chili is that I tend to throw in everything but the kitchen sink, so when it comes out amazing I never quite remember what I did! This recipe, while fairly simple, is sooo good and easy to make for a cold winter night.

Reason #1 that I have so far enjoyed the Army life is that it has taken me out of my comfort zone and I’ve gotten the chance to live in a beautiful place like Colorado. Reason #1 that I hate the Army life is that they then moved us from Colorado to Lawton, Oklahoma.

Strawberry Jello Shots…

I’m BACK (bitches)! I can’t believe how long its been since I last posted on this blog, but my defense is that my camera got smashed… and by that I mean my boyfriend accidentally drove over it with his truck. If I was a conspiracy theorist, I would have written accidentally in quotes because I know he gets so sick of looking at my hundreds of food photos. But what better way to make a triumphant return, with a new, wonderful camera than with a recipe for jello shots!
